FOTO WIEN is part of the European Month of Photography and the new festival for photography in Vienna. It will take place for the first time next year, from March 20 to April 20, 2019. For one month photography becomes the central theme of Vienna. The exhibition under the title Bodyfiction is developed in collaboration with the program partners of the European Month of Photography and deals with the perception of the body in contemporary photography. The exhibition will be accompanied by a publication edited by a curatorial team of the festival cities Athens, Berlin, Budapest, Bratislava, Luxembourg, Paris and Vienna and will be presented at FOTO WIEN. In cooperation with museums, exhibition spaces, galleries, archives, photography institutions and a large number of artists, FOTO WIEN focuses on national and international positions in photography. Additionally, the festival includes an extensive supporting program.

Museums, art galleries, project rooms, artists and all others who want to participate at FOTO WIEN as program partners can submit their projects here until September 24, 2018.
