ENCONTROS DA IMAGEM International Photography Festival

ENCONTROS DA IMAGEM International Photography Festival is pleased to announce that is now open for submissions to the 26th edition.The festival will take place in Braga, Portugal on the 21st september 2016, and will provide opportunities for emerging photographers from around the world to submit their work and create the opportunity to explore and interrogate the festival theme of the Pursuit of the Happiness, under the teaser: “Happiness, a place in the sun”.

After the powerful celebration of its 25th edition, the Festival ENCONTROS DA IMAGEM returns with an intense program, proposing a reflection on Happiness, in today’s societies. Memory, Changes and Revelations, are among the themes of this edition, which help us to understand the multiple paths of Happiness.

The new edition of ENCONTROS DA IMAGEM is officially launched and the Call for Entries is open until June 10, 2016, month where the results of the selected authors will be announced after evaluation by a panel of an expertise jury.
