For the first time, from November 11–14, 2011 EIKON will participate at this year’s nofound_photofair, the contemporary photography fair in Paris. You will find EIKON at the fair’s bookshop curated by Claire de Rouen.

nofound photofair is a contemporary art fair dedicated to photography, taking place in the heart of Paris at Garage Turenne from November 11–14. It aims to bring together all stakeholders in the captured image around unique and original projects and builds a link between contemporary art and photography. Exhibitors like galleries, public organizations and publishers are invited to transcend the idea of the conventional photo booth by presenting curated projects ranging from classical exhibitions to installations. Created as a unique platform of exchange and collaboration, nofound_photofair features 38 booths and presents numerous challenging events like portfolio reviews, talks, and discussion panels involving both prestigious exhibitors and special international guests.

Paris Photo, the well-known international art fair in Paris celebrates its 15th anniversary this year and for the first time ever it will take place at the fascinating Grand Palais from November 10–13. As usual, EIKON will participate at Paris Photo again this year! You can find EIKON at the magazine booth (A 19)

On November 12, WestLicht arranges the 5th Photographica Auction presenting a selection of approximately 200 photographs of high international renown. Besides artworks by Henri Cartier-Bresson, Berenice Abbott, and Robert Capa, vintage prints by well-known Austrian artists are also for purchase. To complement the portfolio on offer, Elisabeth M. Gottfried (EIKON), known as expert for contemporary photography, was invited to make a choice of exciting and fresh photographers such as Judith Huemer, Eva Schlegel and Werner Schrödl – artists who are also represented at Edition EIKON.
