Open Call Prix Photoforum 2024

Photoforum Pasquart warmly invites photographers and artists to submit their most innovative projects for the Prix Photoforum 2024. Whether it’s documentary photography, conceptual works, or multimedia installations.

Since 1993, the Prix Photoforum Open Call has been a fundamental part of their commitment to discover, promote, and support outstanding photographers and artists in the field of photography.

From the submissions, the jury, composed of Alfio Tommasini (Co-founder and Director of Verzasca Foto), Teresa Gruber (Head of Exhibitions & Specialization, Fotostiftung Schweiz), Morgane Paillard (Director of Alt+1000), Nicolas Savary (Photographer and Board Member of Photoforum), and Amelie Schüle (Director & Curator of Photoforum), will select 10 to 15 artists. These artists will have the opportunity to present their works in a group exhibition in December 2024 in the heart of Biel/Bienne.

The Prix Photoforum, awarding CHF 5000, will be presented to an outstanding entry at the exhibition opening. Moreover, as a selected participant, the artists will receive a contribution of CHF 500 towards covering transport and production costs.
