Hôtels Paris Rive Gauche Photo Award

The Hôtels Paris Rive Gauche group is made up of six boutique hotels in Paris` Left Bank. In June 2005 startet their project:

"A hotel photo, an artist`s view":

Each Month a photographer spend one night in one of the group`s hotels and propose a single photo together with a short piece of text inspired by their stay.

The Hôtels Paris Rive Gauche group supports contemporary photographers and new talents.They decided to organise an annual retrospective of the photos taken for the "A hotel photo, an artist`s view" project and award a prize.

The first prize is a gift of 3.000 euros.

The exhibition takes place at the Daguerre Studios, one of the first photo studios in paris.

Participation

If you would like to participate in the project, you have to send an e-mail to Alain Bisotti (abisotti@photo-hotel.com). It is necessary that this e-mail includes a link to a site or blog that showcases your work. If you do not have a site, you can simply include a selection of photos with your e-mail.

The photographers for 2008 will be selected in November 2007.
