Open Call: Emergentes Portfolio Reviews

The Open Call for our annual portfolio reviews is officially open and accepting submissions until June 4.

This award allows photographers to meet with expert photography commissioners, gallerists, curators and publishers in the industry, and present their projects. We are also very pleased to announce that after 3 years of online reviews, the event is now returning to the city of Braga. We are looking forward to a few busy days of networking as well as enjoying the city with you!

The Portfolio reviews will be led by an internationally recognised, independent jury from the world of visual arts, some of whom have already been announced and some that will be revealed very soon.

The first prize of 5000 € will be awarded to the winning portfolio, receiving also a solo exhibition in Encontros da Imagem 2024. The remaining nine finalists will have the chance to exhibit their work in a group exhibition, also in 2024.
