The 4th International 212 Photography Competition

Turkey’s pioneering international photography event 212 Photography Istanbul returns for its fourth edition from October 1 to 11 at various venues both on the Asian and European sides. Organised in parallel with the festival, the International 212 Photography Competition aims to discover and showcase future photographers. Applications for this year’s competition are extended due to the high volume of applications and will be accepted until 17 September 2021. Every year, the jury of the International 212 Photography Competition is made up of internationally renowned professionals who are followed with
interest in their area of expertise. The jury of experts in this year’s competition includes Photo London Director Michael Benson, curator and
photography historian Pauline Vermare, Magnum London Gallery Director Nicolas Smirnoff, FOAM Head of Exhibitions Claartje van Dijk, diChroma
Photography Director Anne Morin, Lecturer and Director of London College of Fashion and Photographer Paul Bevan, Correspondent for The Art
Newspaper Tom Seymour and Film Director and Screenwriter Tolga Karaçelik.

Top ten finalists of the 4th International 212 Photography Competition will be announced on 22 September 2021 and the winner will be announced on 1
October 2021. Registration fee is 30 TL for the national applicants and 10 EUR for the international applicants.
